If we waited for a "perfect" forecast in England, we’d never take the lens cap off.

Living in the North East, I’ve realized that the secret to beautiful equine portraits isn’t chasing the sun—it’s about romanticizing the seasons exactly as they come.

It’s that "moody" English weather that allows us to truly romanticize the seasons. This session with under the autumn gold proves that you don't need a blue sky to create something cinematic. The grey light makes colours pop and keeps the focus exactly where it should be: on you and your horse.

Now that spring is finally heading our way, the time to get booked in is now !

I’ve spent a lot of time this winter overthinking my business, but looking at this photo reminded me why I started: I just love capturing horses.

​I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and opening my 2026 diary. I don’t have any bookings yet, so if you’ve been thinking about getting some photos but were worried about your horse behaving or your yard not being 'fancy' enough—please don't be!

I’m just excited to get back out there, meet some local riders, and play with the spring light.

Happy New Year! I am a North East photographer currently curating a new body of work for the 2026 season. I am looking for one or two couples who have chosen a venue with a strong architectural aesthetic to collaborate with for a portfolio-building project.

My focus is on elopements and micro-weddings (20–40 guests max) where the location is central to the story.

I am looking to document celebrations at venues that offer a clean, high-end, or historic backdrop.

It’s Finally Here! My New Website is Live!

I have to be honest… at the start of January 2025, I didn’t want to renew my Squarespace subscription (they wanted an arm and a leg!) so I proceeded to have… nothing. But today, it was cold and rainy, and my husband was busy revising for his exams, so I finally knuckled down — and I’m so happy to say it’s now live!

My new website is a space where you can explore my wedding, engagement, and equine photography. I’m just starting out with weddings, so there aren’t as many photos there yet as I’d like, but I’m excited to grow this section with more beautiful moments over time.

From intimate, romantic weddings in the North East of England to fine-art horse portraits, my goal is to capture moments full of warmth, emotion, and cinematic style.
