The legendary North American P-51D Mustang ‘Marinell’ slicing through the skies at Eastbourne Airbourne 🌊✈️

There is nothing quite like watching a genuine WWII combat veteran dive and roll along the Sussex coastline. Built in 1944 and powered by the iconic Packard Merlin V-12, this machine is pure aviation history in motion.

The Ultimate Papa Bear Defending the Next Generation at Beachy Head If you think human parents are protective, look at what this father kestrel is doing to defend his family. These incredible split-second action shots capture a high-stakes, life-or-death battle happening right on the sheer chalk face of Beachy Head. Here is the real story behind this intense aerial showdown: The Stakes: Babies Nearby Right now, hidden away in a safe crevice in the cliffs, this adult male kestrel has a nest full of vulnerable chicks (or brand-new fledglings practicing their very first flights). They are completely defenseless against the cliffside’s larger predators. The Threat: A Cruising Raven Ravens are incredibly smart, calculated, and massive. To a raven, a nest of kestrel chicks is the ultimate prize. When this giant bird cruised a bit too close to the nesting site, it wasn’t just a casual passerby it was an active threat to the kestrel’s babies. Fatherly Fury Even though the raven is nearly four times his size, this kestrel dad didn’t hesitate for a single second. He dropped out of the sky like a missile, striking from above with such terrifying speed and force that the giant raven was forced to execute a frantic, upside-down barrel roll mid-air just to throw its massive claws up in defense. This isn’t just a random territorial dispute; it’s a dedicated father risking everything to ensure his chicks live to see tomorrow. Nature at Beachy Head is beautiful, but it is absolutely fierce! bbcearth

One moment over Beachy Head on Saturday
To the left a double rainbow carrying rain beneath it.
In the centre a coastal storm rolling across the cliffs.
To the right the sunset breaking through the chaos.

This is why I never stop documenting nature.
Because moments like this are gone forever in seconds… but photography allows them to live on.

Real weather. Real light. No AI. No shortcuts.

Tomorrow is a big one. 🎙 🦅

I have been looking forward to this conversation for a long time. Tomorrow we sit down with a man who spent 36 years with the RSPB two decades of that on the Isle of Mull watching a species come back from extinction with his own eyes.

The white-tailed eagle was gone from Britain. Shot out of existence. And this man dedicated his life to bringing it back.

I cannot say too much yet. But this episode is going to be something special.

A baby Tawny Owl. Just sitting there. In Wales. Staring straight at me like I was the one who didn’t belong.

This is what happens when you slow down and actually look at the world around you. Most people walked straight past these beautiful owls without ever knowing it was there.

This is why I do what I do. 🦉🌿

If you find a baby owl on the ground don’t panic and don’t pick it up. It has almost certainly just fledged and mum is nearby watching. Leave it alone and let nature do its thing.

Kestrel populations have declined by 49% according to official UK Government wildlife data. Moments like this are becoming increasingly rare across Britain. We film these encounters to remind people what we still have and what we stand to lose. Have you ever seen a Kestrel in the wild? Drop it below.

The algorithm might want trends, but the UK sky belongs to this.
The Red Kite is one of the greatest conservation success stories in British history. By the 1980s, human persecution drove them down to just a few remaining pairs in Wales. Thanks to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and intense reintroduction efforts, they are back.
But the fight isn’t over. Illegal poisoning and shooting on shooting estates still happen far too often. They are legally protected, but laws only work if people are watching.
Let’s prove the algorithm wrong. Drop a 3 if you’ve seen a
Red Kite in your area, Let’s map out how far they’ve come.
