A great weekends drive from Plato Racing at Snetterton with their most solid performance of the season so far. The cars look to be lacking a little when it comes to straight line speed, but with recent tweaks to the chassis they’ve proved that they are making moves in the right direction. Listen up, I’m a die hard Honda boy, but a K series in a Clio chassis is my idea of a match made in heaven

I’ve had the delight to see Michael Hume send this French missile around Cadwell & Donington decimating the rest of the Pocket Rocket NA time attack field. The Clio 172/182 is already an incredibly versatile track car, dropping a K20 in the mix takes it to the next level.

Truth be told, I don’t think anyone stands a chance of competing, this car and driver setup is going to be unbeatable this year. Can’t wait to see them again at Brands Hatch 🏁

Jac Constable wasted no time making an impact on his return to TCR UK at Brands Hatch earlier this month 🏁

A composed and controlled drive in Race 1 saw him take victory in tricky, stop-start conditions but still delivering exactly the performance you want at the start of a championship.

The rest of the weekend didn’t come quite as cleanly, with the usual reverse grid chaos and on track battles making things harder to convert pace into results. But the speed was there throughout, and that opening win says everything.

For JH Racing, it was a weekend that showed both pace and potential. A strong start, valuable points on the board, and clear signs that they’ll be well in the mix as the season unfolds.

First ever trip to a racetrack with a camera and now I’m hooked.
I’ve photographed wildlife and car meets for a year, but motorsport feels like home.

I’m Jay 👋 a 34 year old plumber from Essex, husband, and dad to a little boy with the coolest car-inspired name (Cam 😎). Life’s good, but I’m realising I want to spend more time doing what I really enjoy…..documenting race days, teams, stories, and speed.

I’d love to learn from the people already living it:
— Photographers… how did you break in?
— Race teams… what do you look for in a photographer?
— Do you prefer purely work or personal relationships?
— Track action only, or full storytelling — pits, people, prep?

My goal is to get good enough to take a couple days a month trackside, working with teams, series, or media outlets, without risking everything I’ve built at home.

Any insight, advice, or experiences would mean the world 🙏👇
