In August last year I had the great opportunity to photograph some BTS on a short film titled ‘Dolos’📸 I found out about this film through my friend and producer of .project , and was immediately excited by the prospect of photographing this film! The aim of the Potter Project is to be a community for young film makers, and I am grateful to have a chance to be involved in one of their films!

I had an amazing time working with this lovely team of people, and really enjoyed capturing candid moments of these shoots🎬

In June this year I was very grateful to have worked as an audience co ordinator for an Antiques Roadshow episode, shot at Firstsite, Colchester. It was really exciting to see the process of how they capture different aspects of the show, and to see the behind the scenes of segments that tie each episode together.

I had such a great time and got to work with some lovely people. Thank you to BBC Studios and Lost in TV!

Late last year I came across a TikTok video describing plans to create a short film titled ‘Wildfire’. I was instantly fascinated with their concept and knew I wanted to be a part of it if I could. I decided to reach out and ask to help in any way possible, at which point Imogen and Phoebe kindly welcomed me into their wonderful team🎞️🎥

Everyone I got to work with was so passionate and dedicated to this project, working tirelessly through the good and tough parts of shooting. I learnt so much and am so grateful to have been a small cog in bringing this idea to life, alongside the most welcoming and supportive crew I could have asked for✨

I had the best time being a part of this project and I cannot wait to see the final product! Thank you again to and , and and for teaching me more about the camera department☺️

I recently had the opportunity to work as an assistant stage manager and props coordinator on a play as part of the Chelmsford Theatre Workshop. This play, titled ‘Consent’ (by Nina Raine), focused on two barristers (and friends) who had taken opposing briefs in a case. The lives of these friends began intertwining and unraveled as the case came to a close, which forced them to question their beliefs of right and wrong.

I was really excited to be involved in this play, as there were many aspects to consider in how we could indicate changes in time, and background/action props that represent individual character personalities. I enjoyed the challenge of learning and gaining experience within props and set design, something I had not worked in previously to this.

Thank you to all the lovely cast and crew I got to work with on this play! And special thank yous to directors Laura Bradley and Helena Bumpus for allowing me to be involved with this wonderful play, and Caroline Froy for helping to show me the ropes! And of course thank you to Chelmsford Theatre Workshop for continuing to support local theatre in Chelmsford.
