Standing in Hope Park, surrounded by beautifully kept gardens, with the impressive Skiddaw fells towering above the town, it's easy to understand why so many people fall in love with this corner of the Lake District.

Sometimes the best views are found where you least expect them.

I took this at Blea Tarn, Ambleside, and I can honestly say it’s my favourite photograph I’ve ever captured! The Lake District never disappoints, but moments like this remind me why I keep coming back with my camera.
