Through my work, I get a front-row seat to women on their life journeys — following their dreams, building ideas, often starting new businesses in midlife while juggling work and children, and working hard behind the scenes to quietly create extraordinary things.

It’s such an honour to capture those moments:
the passion,
the courage,
the creativity,
and the determination that often isn’t seen.

Every woman I photograph reminds me how powerful it is when women support each other and celebrate each other’s stories.

Today I’m feeling very proud to be a woman — and deeply thankful to all the women who trust me to capture a small part of their journey.

Did you know, Snowdrops can actually generate their own heat?

The tips of the flower are able to slightly warm themselves, which helps them push up through frozen ground and even melt the snow around them. That’s how they manage to bloom while everything else is still fast asleep.

A little reminder on this very wintry day that we don’t have to wait for perfect conditions to flourish. ❤️

Very happy to look back into my archives for this 2016 TREND.

Back then my world was full of tiny people, and I actually made the effort to step in front of the camera myself (which says a lot!). When I spotted that the lovely photographer was over from America for just a couple of days, I jumped on it.

It’s still one of my absolute favourite motherhood photos. And I promise you — these images only get more meaningful as time passes. So if you’ve been thinking about booking a shoot… this is your sign. You really won’t regret it ✨
