Hello Everyone,
My two babies are now 16 and 18 (âI know, how did that happen, time really does fly doesnât it!!) and I wanted to share with you something I have learnt as a mum.
I have loved capturing my childrenâs childhood on camera and looking back, I wish I had captured a whole lot more of it.
My two gorgeous children, one who is now classed as an adult and the other heading off to college and a new and exciting chapter of education. From an early age, they are both so used to being pestered for photographs and its second nature for them to be comfortable in front of the camera, even as self conscious teens. I can honestly say, their sometimes begrudging participation and patience has helped me to become an even better photographer and I really appreciate their sacrifice.
My advice to you all is to grab that camera or smart phone and take as many memorable pictures as you can. Donât look back and regret letting those fun, silly and precious moments with your amazing children pass you by. Here are some of my own favourites images from past until present day and I hope you enjoy them.
So remember not to leave your own captured moments on a cloud, a memory stick or trapped in side that abandoned iPhone 4 in the drawer full of old charging leads. Go dig them out, print them, frame them and celebrate them every time you look at them.
