Lauren Christie School Of Dance – Icons & Legends 2026
The stage was set and the dancers delivered! Lauren Christie School Of Dance brought absolute magic to the Bo'ness Town Hall on June 2026 with their showcase, "Icons & Legends". From the Performance Team opening with "Let's Get Loud" right through to the epic Cast of 2026 Finale, the talent and dedication of these kids was incredible to watch.
A massive well done to Lauren, her supportive family and friends, and all the amazing kids who worked so hard to put this on! Huge thanks to all the backstage and front of house helpers, the lighting technician, and the brilliant staff at Bo'ness Town Hall for keeping everything running smoothly.

CDCo. We're Free! 2026 Highlights

Carrie's Dance Company (CDCo.) brought absolute fire for their "We're Free!" production! Celebrating an incredible 30+ years of loyalty and support, it was a massive full-circle moment for Carrie seeing former pupils' own kids taking to the stage.

From the "We're Free" opener in Act 1 right through to the massive "Hoedown Throwdown" finale choreographed by Dylan Bland, the talent and hard work were undeniable. Huge respect to Carrie's core team—Mum, Dad, Christine, Lesley, Lauren, Harli, and her talented son Dylan—for pulling off a phenomenal show. A quick nod to Deans Electrical Ltd for sponsoring the event, too.

We loved capturing every moment of the action. Don't forget, online registration for the new term kicks off on the 1st of August 2026, so get on it!

Distinctive Dance Academy – When the Elements Dance 2026 Highlights

Distinctive Dance Academy brought pure energy to the stage for their Charity Annual Fundraising Show, "When the Elements Dance"! From the Wiggly Worms opening Act One right through to the spectacular "Fire" all-cast finale, the talent and commitment from every single student was outstanding.

A massive well done to the Distinctive Dance Academy staff and the voluntary board members for pulling off such an amazing event. Special shoutouts to Michelle Baxter for managing all those incredible, glittery costumes, and to the Robertson Trust Glasgow City Council Area Partnership and Children's National Lottery for their continued support of this great cause.

Huge thanks to the brilliant staff at Platform Glasgow, for hosting such a spectacular evening and keeping the venue running seamlessly. We were absolutely delighted to be capturing all the magic.

KBDA Karen Bordon Dance Academy – I Can Boogie!
2026 Highlights
The energy was off the charts as the Karen Bordon Dance Academy brought their showcase "I Can Boogie!" to the The Town House Hamilton! From the "Toy Story" opening scene right through to the incredible "Bonnie Scotland" finale, the dedication and talent of every single dancer was phenomenal. "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much," and that was clear to see on that stage! A massive well done to Director Karen Bordon and her incredible teaching staff—Bethany & Morgan Leslie, Laura Ballantyne, Olivia Leslie, and Liam Ryan—along with all the class assistants. A huge thank you to the brilliant staff at the Hamilton Townhouse for hosting such a spectacular evening and keeping everything running smoothly.

EDA – Lights Camera Action 2026 Highlights
EDA Emmas Dance Academy brought the absolute magic to Lanark Memorial Hall for their spectacular "Lights Camera Action" 2026 showcase! Celebrating four incredible years, Emma and her dancers delivered a blockbuster performance, from the "Cartoon Heros" Tiny Tots right through to the epic "Welcome to the Movies" all-cast finale. A massive well done to Emma, her dedicated teaching assistants—Sara, Kara, Alanis, Ellie, Orla, and Gracie—and her family for all the hard work behind the scenes, especially getting the brand new dance studio ready for the kids. Diane Brownlie's School of Dance – A Night On The Toon 2026

Diane's School of Dance brought the absolute magic to the The Town House Hamilton on May 2026 with their showcase, "A Night On The Toon"! From the "Great Show" opener in Act 1 right through to the massive Full Cast Finale in Act 2, the energy was outstanding.

A massive well done to School Principal Diane Brownlie, Assistant Head Nicola Sommerville, Evie Hinshelwood, and the guest teachers for putting together such a brilliant production from their Larkhall base. A special shoutout to Miah Wilson for her recent run in the Sleeping Beauty Easter Panto in Airdrie, and to ShirleyAnn Bailey on the music edit!

LADC A Night With The Stars 2026 Highlights
LADC Liza's Academy of Dance & Cheer brought the absolute house down with their annual showcase, "A Night With The Stars"! Taking over the Denny Civic Theatre on May 2026, Liza and her incredible team delivered a show to remember. From the "Proud Mary" opening right through to "The Wizard of Oz" in Act 2, the energy on stage was electric. A massive shoutout to the World Champion competitive teams who recently conquered the Allstar World Championships in America, and wishing the very best of luck to Kiara Biglie competing at The Dance World Cup this summer! Huge thanks to Scott from Spotlight Event Production for the flawless event production, and to the brilliant staff at Denny Civic Theatre for hosting such a spectacular couple of nights.
