I've been studying photography for a while now and realised it was finally time to get my work out there and build a little community of people and potential clients for the future. Here is a little bit about my background in photography. First of all, it is hard for me to pinpoint when I started photography; I have been studying photography in college for the past year. But emotionally and physic
ally been doing photography for what feels like my whole life. Since I can remember I have always loved the concept of capturing the moment. Freezing time some might say. Also, i have always loved the fact that my work will some day still be here even when I no longer am. Making history technically, LOL. I love nothing more than capturing the love between people and families and being able to share that moment with you, giving you something to cherish for a lifetime, weather it be at your home or the great outdoors. I don't think becoming a photographer happens overnight. To me, it's the passion you develop from taking photos, seeing the world in your own way and dedicating yourself to learning how best to capture that vision and share it with others! Photography has never been something I thought I could make a living from. It has always been a hobby (and a rather expensive one LOL.) Like most of us, it’s my dream to turn my hobby into something I can live off. But for now, I just want to get my work out there. Maybe some of you will buy a print and one day or book a session with me and I’ll be able to buy myself a new lens with that, or maybe I’ll have a few people visit this page and quietly think "those are some nice pictures" and nothing more, and I’d be happy with that too. As an artist I wouldn't say I have a specific “style”. I’d never want to label myself into only shooting one thing. I don’t call myself a portrait photographer, or any other subdivision of photographer… I’m just a girl who likes to take pictures. And hopefully a girl who takes pictures that you will enjoy. And who knows? maybe one day in the near future I can make this into my career!
