I love making these. They really are a great way to watch a family grow.

I've been updating mine at least every 2 years but today I delivered this family their first 😊

Their reaction when it was delivered was the one you always hope for, lots of omgs and and eagerness to show it off 😊😊😊

Oh it's been a while since I posted here, apologies I've been in the shed working on various other projects along with contemplating the future of this photographic endeavour.

The good news, I suppose, is I've decided to continue shooting when and where I can, the sad part is I'm no longer able to offer the Christmas mini sessions 😕

I had serious thoughts about closing this chapter having enjoyed it but not pushed it to its full potential, but not everything has to be a business and I'm ok with this not being a solid income and instead a creative outlet.

Thanks to all of the encouragement I've had from people both inside and out of photography circles.

Hopefully I'll be producing more work more frequently than I have been 🙂

So a little while ago, around lockdown 2 I think, I had an idea about doing a circus themed shoot, this then lead to the idea of a ringmaster. I bought some props and did a couple of tests. I finally got to execute it on sunday, now like most of my idea this isn't exactly what I envisioned but things rarely go that way and I'm happy about that. The make up gives me mad hatter vibes which is a nice touch, leading to the caption for this one being....

'We're all a little mad here Darling'

So yesterday I dipped my toe back into the world of photography. After 15 months of not using my camera I was a tad nervous about what my results would be like.

However working with and .a.s.kbykaren I really had no need to worry as these ladies are a super team to work with and bring their A game every time.

Shout out to for the assistance and props too.

A full return to shooting is yet to be decided but if my other planned tests end results like the ones I got yesterday it'd be a no-brainer.

Guess we'll wait and see.

So its been a long time since I last posted here. Its been a very quiet few months. Very little has been photographed by me and that looks like the way things are going to be for a few months more.

I've taken the decision to not shoot my Christmas mini sessions for the first time in 4 years. That really has been a tough call, but the support and understanding displayed by my clients has given me hope that when I do return to a more steady flow of shoots, they'll be there ready to fill my books :)

In the mean time I've been trawling the archives to find some previously hidden gems. These were shot back in late 2018 with Sarah Fisher-Webb and MUA Maskbykaren

A more recent revisit here. One of my last shoots before the lockdown :(

My first time working with Emma Lucy Modelling. Just a simply beauty/fashion shoot. Hopefully once we're all set free again we'll get to work together on more ambitious projects :)
