10 Wedding Photos I’ll Never Forget (And Why)

I’ve got a pre wedding photoshoot tomorrow and we’ve spent this evening chatting about what to wear, what to expect, nerves, and everything in between so I felt it was only right I share a handful of photos from some previous session.

- What to wear?
Neutrals are always a winner! Small/simple patterns if any at all but always wear something you’re comfortable in.

- What to expect?
You’ll arrive with anticipation and leave with excitement. We’ll go for a chilled stroll and with a bit of gentle guidance I’ll take photos whilst we chat, it’s that easy! But you won’t believe me until you’re doing it.

- Nerves?
They’re totally normal and to be expected but the entire point of the session is to work through them so when it comes to your wedding day, we smash your couples photos.

- Everything else in between?
It’s worth it just for the extra photos if you and your fiancé 🤍

One of my most frequently asked questions is; what if it rains?

We live in England so the chances are relatively high!

During your final details call we’ll work through your schedule and at the necessary points we’ll come up with a back up plan. I’d rather have one and not use it than need you think about anything other than having an amazing time on the day.

This could be having your confetti thrown as you walk back up the aisle rather than outdoors.

We’ll find alternative places to capture those all important couples photos that work for you! Even the cosiest corner can make for the most romantic moments.

I also, at all times, have an umbrella in my car. White of course! Just big enough for you both to fit comfortably under and keep you dry.

2026 started early this year with R&K saying I do at .grange earlier this week.

I will never take for granted that my job is to be a part of the best day of your lives and the 18th Feb was spent with some of the most wonderfully genuine, hilarious and kind humans I’ve had the pleasure of meeting!

✨Review✨: Where do I even begin with Lisa? I have known her for over 10 years, and she has been there to capture some of the most important moments of our lives. She photographed our baby girl when she was just 10 days old, did our pre-wedding/engagement shoot, and most recently, captured our wedding day. Having her with us throughout this journey has been so special.

Lisa is honestly incredible. Her attention to detail is second to none, and she is so much more than just a photographer. On our wedding day, she was always ready and on hand to help with absolutely anything — whether that was tidying up, helping me into my dress, cleaning a stain off my gown, or simply being a calming presence. Lisa is truly what every bride needs on her wedding day.

She is so full of love, light, and happiness, and her energy is completely contagious. She genuinely contributes to making the day feel even more special. From late-night WhatsApps answering my many questions, to helping us decide on the photos we wanted and even offering supplier recommendations, nothing was ever too much trouble.

We had a meeting a week before the wedding to go through every detail of the day, and Lisa covered absolutely everything. It made me feel so at ease, and I knew without a doubt that I could fully trust her.

When we received our photos, it felt like we had been transported straight back to the day. They are absolutely beautiful. Lisa captured our wedding exactly how we hoped; candid, wholesome, and filled with pure happiness. She truly listened to the brief we gave her, and wow, did she deliver.

Lisa, you are so wonderful and so incredibly talented. You are an absolute inspiration to me, and everyone should be hiring you! We love you so much and will cherish not only our photos, but the entire experience of having you with us on this journey forever.

🥂 Happy Gregorian New Year 🥂

2025 was full of incredible couples, emotional moments, packed dance floors and days I’ll never forget! Truly grateful doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel being chosen to capture the biggest day of your lives.

Behind the scenes, this year (especially the last four months) has been the toughest. I’ve been tested in so many ways and where aspects of my business, like showing up on here, have taken a hit, my couples and their memories have remained at the very top of my priorities.

Instead of a roundup reel of the last year, I’m still working my through editing the final weddings of 2025 so that I can enter in to my 2026 wedding season feeling refreshed, grounded and so ready so the unreal line up of weddings I genuinely can’t wait for 🤍
