Join me on a fantastic day hike along the Cleveland Way National Trail, walking from the historic village of Great Ayton all the way to the coastal town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

On this route, we skip the climb up Roseberry Topping and head straight across Roseberry Common to rejoin the trail at Newton Moor. From there, we dive into the massive expanse of Guisborough Woods, climb up to the breathtaking rocky viewpoint of Highcliff Nab for panoramic views over Teesside, and finish with a scenic coastal walk right into Saltburn.

The afternoon brings blazing sunshine, stunning views, and a tricky navigation challenge as fallen trees completely block the path along the face of the hill.
