Good morning you beautiful people. Right now I’m having breakfast at my favourite place in London, editing yesterday’s photoshoot and drinking black coffee. Later today though, I shall be travelling to my little sailing boat in England for more adventures. Anyway, I took this photo some time ago as I wandered along the shore at Gosport near Portsmouth. A proud Naval area, although sadly, the Navy is somewhat smaller today than it was when I was born in Portsmouth.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to train swans to be perfectly synchronised? A long time. That’s how long. Tuesday evening outside a pub by The Thames in Chiswick, London. Most pleasant.

I shall call this ‘clouds illuminated by lightning with lamppost’. You have to look for the lamppost. The clouds you can probably see. iPhone photo taken a few nights ago in Birmingham.

Woman in sunlight. Almost always, I’ll produce photos that I know the client will like or that people on here will like. That’s great, but it does mean that I’m not adventurous enough and produce photos that I like, but that might be disliked by others. This is one of those photos. I really like it, but it’s different. So let’s see.

Saturday morning and I’m going through the photoshoot from Thursday’s photoshoot in Birmingham. As you go through the shots to get down to the ones you want to keep (took 1,900 shots and down to 476) there are always ones that stand out. This is one. A difficult lighting situation with the bright sunlight outside and the subject facing away from the light. I think it’s worked though.

I told you my photoshoots are relaxing. Just going through the photos from yesterday’s shoot in Birmingham.

Another photo I took yesterday on my Fujifilm xpro 3 and have just downloaded. I absolutely loved the light pouring into this pub. It had the most magical colour to it. Also, that gorgeous wood panelling and the green of the sofas. Incredibly, I’d never been to this one before.

Just downloaded yesterday’s photos from my Fujifilm XPro3. I’m not telling you where I wandered; it’s a secret and there’s no way you’ll guess from this photo I took.

And now I give you a hint of The Beatles Abbey Road, together with a glimpse of Pink Floyd’s Animals, all in one photo as I walked to Battersea Power Station today. I have to admit that my brilliance here has amazed even me.

In case you’ve all missed me and wouldn’t be able to sleep without hearing from me, I thought I’d post to wish you all goodnight. It’s been a productive sort of a day. I edited photos for a client and sent those to her, I wrote the stories behind twenty photos for my new book to replace my London Wanders one. Plenty more to do, but I shall do that tomorrow after my tv appearance at about 9am (becoming a regular thing now). I’ve also been planning a whole photo series I want to do. More about that another time. Anyway, I took this photo quite some time ago. It’s Strand on the Green in Chiswick late one night as a gentleman walks home by the river. The lights of Kew Bridge twinkling in the background. As always, it’s all about the light, even in the dark. Nighty night.
