It doesn’t matter how many children you have, or whether you’re carrying a boy or a girl — no two pregnancies are ever quite the same.

Every woman has her own unique pregnancy story, just as we all have our own completely different birth stories. Different emotions, different experiences, different journeys… and that’s what makes each one so incredibly special.

We literally grow life inside our bodies. A whole little human. How amazing is that? 🥹

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY — WITHOUT THE PRE-SHOOT SHOPPING LIST 🤍

One thing I want new parents to know before booking a newborn session: you don’t need to bring a suitcase for your baby.

Over the years, I’ve built a carefully selected studio collection so everything needed to create your newborn photographs is already here.

You simply bring your baby, the usual feeding and changing essentials, and yourselves if we’re creating family photographs too.

I keep my newborn photography timeless and minimal, with the focus on beautiful light, natural tones and photographs that won’t feel dated in 10 or 20 years.

When should you book?
Ideally, book your newborn session after your 20-week scan. We reserve a space around your due date and finalise the exact session date once your baby arrives.

I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month so that there is flexibility for babies arriving earlier or later than expected.

One less thing to organise before your baby arrives. 🤍

Hope you’re all enjoying these last beautiful days of summer ☀️🤍

I’m currently taking a little break, slowing down and enjoying some much-needed family time after an incredibly busy summer.

It’s been such a full few months photographing so many beautiful newborns and families, and I’m feeling very grateful for every one of you who has kept me so busy. 🤍

For now… a little more sunshine, family time and recharging before September gets busy again.

One day, this bump will just be a photograph.

The nursery will be finished.
The tiny clothes will have been outgrown.
And somehow, the baby you were waiting so patiently to meet will be running around your house.

That’s the funny thing about pregnancy — while you’re in it, it feels like forever. Then suddenly it becomes a chapter you wish you could visit again for five minutes.

So take the photographs.

Not because pregnancy was perfect. Not because you felt glamorous every day.

But because this version of you existed for such a short time.

And she deserves to be remembered too. 🤍

So many of you have been asking me if I’ll be doing a neutral Christmas studio setting this year… and the answer is YES! 🤍🎄

Last year, the children absolutely loved the Christmas baking sessions — they had so much fun getting involved, playing, baking and creating those gorgeous natural moments. So I simply had to bring the baking setup back this year! 🍪✨

This year’s White Christmas Mini Sessions will have a beautiful, cosy, home-inspired feel with soft whites, warm neutrals, natural greenery and timeless Christmas details. Alongside the main Christmas setting, we’ll have our festive gingerbread baking station for the little ones to enjoy.

Please note that the interiors and setups shown are inspiration for the final sets. I’ll do my very best to recreate the same beautiful feel and atmosphere — and who knows, maybe make them even better. 🤍

Some sessions really make you realise just how quickly time is flying. 🤍

Three years ago, this little girl came to me as the newborn… and now she’s back, proudly stepping into her brand-new role as BIG SISTER to another beautiful baby girl. 🥹✨

And what a character she has become! She brought so much personality, fun and sweetness to the session — definitely keeping us all entertained. 😂🤍

It’s such a special feeling when families come back to me as their family grows. From photographing their first tiny baby to now capturing the two sisters together… these are the moments I absolutely love.

Nobody warns you how quickly they uncurl. 🤍

Those tucked-up little legs, sleepy stretches and tiny fingers resting on their chest don’t stay this small for long.

That’s why I love newborn photography that feels natural rather than overly posed. A relaxed newborn photoshoot gives us time to follow your baby’s rhythm, capture all those tiny details and create timeless newborn portraits that still feel like them.
