Sparklers on your wedding day can always be fun, if not a bit chaotic, with a load of pi**ed guests. Here are a few quick tips to make the most of them:
• Go for long sparklers – they last longer, giving you more time for photos and less stress.
• Have a solid lighting plan – a blowtorch, fire pit, or a couple of windproof lighters works best. Once a few are lit, guests can help each other (it snowballs quickly!).
• Timing matters – around 30 minutes after sunset is ideal. You’ll get that gorgeous dusky blue sky rather than pitch black… but always fit it around your schedule (first dance, food, etc.).
• Get guests lined up and light from the starting point – by the time you walk through, everything should be glowing nicely.
• Pop a few buckets of sand nearby so guests can safely dispose of used sparklers (no scorched grass!).
• And don’t forget… you two need sparklers as well! They add a beautiful glow to your faces in low light ✨
A little planning goes a long way – and the results are always worth it 🔥
