'Modern Makers' exhibition at the Oxmarket Contemporary Gallery, Chichester, West Sussex, has opened until Sunday 4th February. I have four darkroom photographs and many more unframed in a gallery browser.

So many handmade crafts in one space to look at close up, it takes time to wander around looking at their individual skill. Textures, shapes, materials, and colours, something for everyone 🙂

Wonderful to share silver jeweller Gael Emmett's studio Venue 3 for the the first 3 days, to introduce Art Trail visitors to silver gelatin photography.

'Full Moon on Beachy Head, East Sussex, England'

From 2018. A long exposure to catch the Full Moon's silver gleam on the sea, and partly inspired by an iconic Eric Ravilious painting 'Beachy Head' 1939.

The original painting, and others, I was in front of today at the Eric Ravilious 'Downland Man' Exhibition Wiltshire Museum, Devizes, until 30th January.

Silver Light.
West meets East was Angus’ first emotion on finding this corner. It could be a view from an Indian lake. The cupola is a place of calm contemplation in the warmth of the summer. In winter it becomes an artistic silhouette in the quiet light.
Beautiful villas, terraces and exotic plants combine so elegantly at the northern Italian lakes. Angus has a remarkable talent for creating photographs that resemble watercolour paintings with the gentle softness of their many grey tones.
Many more limited edition, monochrome images - Angus develops traditional film and makes his silver gelatin prints by hand - are in the exhibition Silver Light and on sale at Taunus Foto Galerie in Bad Homburg.
