An Old Man With a Cheap Camera

An Old Man With a Cheap Camera Welcome to the Steve Worrell Photography page. Say "Cheese" Not for me! I love a rusty bolt, a reflection in a puddle, a landscape or a butterfly.

I am entirely self taught, hate convention and the "proper" way and the rest, as they say is hysterical..

SUNSET OVER SOUTH BERSTED
A lovelyfeature of living on the South Coast is the beauty of the sunsets, this evening's is no exception.

I'm seriously flirting with the idea of selling my cameras! My A series Samsung phone has a 50 megapixel camera and produces excellent results. It's a no brainer!

"MEET THE TEAM"

These two bad boys are an essential part of my page. Both well into their teens they can still turn out a decent quality image. Most of the pictures on this page have been recorded on one or other of these cameras.

OLYMPUS STYLUS 1
This is the camera that will have to be prised from my lifeless fingers. £549 New in 2013, can be picked up on e-bay today for half that price. The menu settings are the same as the OMD EM5, and the fab lens has a 10X optical zoom and a fixed f2.8 aperture. Autofocus is blazing fast and the IQ is terrific. It is "jacket pocketable" as well making it an ideal take anywhere option.

FUJIFILM FINEPIX HS30 EXR
A legacy bridge camera that does everything an entry level DSLR can do plus a great deal more. £399 New in 2012 can be bought today for under £100. The fujinon lens is superb and the 30X zoom is manually adjusted saving battery life so you can 600 photos per charge.
