More and more people are choosing direct cremations — a simple option without a service at the crematorium. For some, this feels exactly right. But for families left behind, it can sometimes be hard to know what else their loved one might have wanted — whether a chance to gather, say goodbye in another way, or simply know which choices would have felt meaningful to them.
That’s why I’ve created Saying Goodbye — a warm, thoughtful booklet to help record your wishes. It isn’t about rules or expectations, but about giving your family the comfort of knowing what matters most to you when the time comes.
