I like to take the odd sneaky wedding selfie when I'm capturing your day, just to say "hey, I was there too" ☺️
I wasn't born confident or loud. People used to describe me as 'shy' at school and I hated that label. But I guess I should have seen it as a compliment rather than a put down. That I wasn't a show-off or an attention seeker, I didn't think I was the bees knees.
I wouldn't say I'm shy now, I love being around people and thrive in many social situations, especially when I'm capturing weddings. But I'm neither loud or pushy either. I know when to back off or give you space when needed. I never want you to feel pressured into having your photo taken or do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. I've been told by many couples I put them at ease and make the whole experience fun and relaxed.
So if you are looking for a wedding photographer who brings warmth, humour and a positive energy to your day who will capture your story authentically as it unfolds, with some gentle direction where it's needed just to elevate your images that little bit more. Then I might be your gal 🙌🏼
