Sunday 15th September - West Yorkshire Police Band are playing a concert raising funds for The Alzheimer's Society. It's at Normanton and tickets are only £10, stick down at 2:30.

Great cause and a super afternoon. Put it in your diary!

URGENT - WOULD YOU LIKE TO ATTEND A FREE CONCERT ON 28TH MAY IN HAXEY?

WLH-H are looking to find an audience to support a concert band that has no audience on Sunday 28th May at 7.30pm in Haxey Memorial Hall.
They were due to perform for a charity event which has been cancelled but would still love to play for the local community. They have a wide repertoire of music but will end with a rousing "Last Night of the Proms" finale. We will deck the hall in bunting and provide flags for everyone. This is a one-off opportunity to attend a free event and for our local community to thank the Concert Band for their generosity to play for us.

This event is for everyone, young or old and will be a fantastic experience for all. All you need to do is bring your own drinks and nibbles. If you want to reserve a table please message us or send an email to [email protected] otherwise it will be first come first served on the night!

We hope you will not let us down and show the band our appreciation for their kind offer.
