This Thursday, 1st October, I’ll be at the KCC Business Growth Event talking about Find.Frame.Share and show how you can turn the photographs already sitting on your camera roll into stories and social media content. You probably already have more useful content than you realise. You just need to find the story behind the picture.

Then next Thursday, 8th October, I’m running a Cheshire Mini Brand Shoot. A relaxed opportunity to create authentic images that show people who you are, what you do and why they should choose you. No stiff poses or corporate clichés. Just useful photographs that feel like you and your business.

Sometimes location matters as much as the photographs.

For my 8th October Cheshire Mini Brand Shoot, I’ve secured this beautiful Georgian house as the setting. It has elegant interiors, period features, natural light, and plenty of spaces to create images that feel authentic to you and your business.

The aim is to create photographs that help you be seen, build trust and connect with your audience without the experience feeling like a traditional photoshoot. Less photoshoot. More like coffee and a conversation.

People don’t connect with a business. They connect with the story behind it.

We often say people buy from people, but I think there’s another layer to that. People want to know why you do what you do. What made you start? What matters to you? What have you learned along the way? What makes you care about the work you do? A polished headshot can show people what you look like. A product photograph can show them what you sell. But a photograph that captures the person, the place, the passion or the moment behind the business can tell people why they should care.

That’s why I believe good brand photography isn’t just about creating nice pictures. It’s about finding the stories that make your business human. Find the story. Frame it. Share it. Because people may notice your business because of a photograph, but they connect with the story behind it.
