It was a privilege to be commissioned by The Telegraph to photograph Boy George, Julian Clary and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who will share playing Jesus Christ Superstar’s biggest baddie
Herod in the new West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical starring Sam Ryder as JC.
The photo sessions took place in the rehearsal rooms at English National Ballet on London City Island, Docklands, London, and a special thanks goes to them and Ellie Maltby for facilitating our visits.

“I had bowel cancer at 45.
Here’s how I got fit enough to row across the Pacific.”
My portrait of Felicity Ashley at her home in Benson, Oxfordshire, who is about to spend five weeks at sea on a 2,400-mile journey from California to Hawaii.
I love my job. Every day is different and I get to meet and speak to such inspiring people whom I’d never normally meet. As Dr Emmett Brown once said “If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything.” And that was certainly the case with Felicity.

‘My best work yet’: meet the older workers who won’t clock off.
More and more people are proving that old age doesn’t have to mean putting your feet up.
As part of this commission for The Telegraph I was asked to travel to Oxfordshire and photograph the wonderfully talented artist and all round lovely and inspiring Josephine Trotter.
She lives on an old farm estate outside Banbury with her studio on the top floor of a stone barn. It was a visual masterpiece to complement her work.
