i know
what i am
and that’s not gonna change
i awake every morning
adorned in my shame
and i know
what it’s like
for the others when
i’m running with the wind
so i look in the mirror with no one to blame
and i know i was right when i said it’ll never be the same
and my heart
is broken , always now

may 7th 2020 from my daily ‘ lockdown journal ‘ : i don’t remember not remembering to write . bonfire under a huge yellow flower moon . went out alone to the embers after midnight to sing some songs . everything is telling me to change my name .
