Words won’t come close to summing up Ashley and Ebony’s wedding last week. We were already excited to be back at EDEN BARN (one of our very favourite venues) and back in Cumbria, and knew we were in for a wonderful time.
Meeting Eb first and chatting about romcoms (Love Actually is, and always will be, one of the greatest) just set the tone for the day. Going over to Ash and hanging out with her and her bridesmaids was so much fun, so calm and exciting. First looks for both of them with their families were so incredibly emotional - they looked stunnnnnnning!!
A gorgeous gorgeous ceremony where they’d written their own vows - not a dry eye in sight I tell you. Flowers to die for by F O R A G E & F O L I A G E and beautiful styling too.
Fun group photos, excellent food (obviously) by Southcott Events Catering and such heartfelt speeches!
And to top off an excellent day, we even got golden hour. Anyone who’s shot at Eden Barn before will know how special the meadow is - and boy did it work its magic for us. Just look at that glow.
We started the day as acquaintances and I can wholeheartedly say we ended it as friends. It was honestly just such a joy to capture this day (especially Dean and I getting to do it together filming and photographing) and really reaffirmed why we love doing what we do.
Two of the kindest and joyful people you could meet, echoed completely by all their guests.
We cant wait to get started on this!
