It probably won’t surprise anyone who’s been following me for a while that I tend to disappear for a bit 🫠... then pop back with a few posts before vanishing again.
The truth is, I’ve been pouring my heart into growing my family photography business while quietly capturing some amazing local businesses behind the scenes.
Recently, I attended a portfolio builder day where I met some incredibly talented and inspiring photographers. While the main focus was photographing the models, we also took the opportunity to capture fresh headshots for each other. It gave me the chance to build my confidence and skills in this area, and I absolutely loved it. Guiding, posing, chatting, laughing with the girls... it didn’t feel like work at all. I even came away with some new photos of myself, which is something I don’t often say!
All of this has made me realise that I want to do more of this.
I want to meet amazing women, capture their confidence, and help them see themselves the way everyone else does. The confidence I walked away with after this experience was so much more than I expected, and I’d love to give that feeling to others.
