what an amazing lightning show over Aber last night - it must have easily lasted a couple of hours. I've never photographed lightning before and only got a few but it doesnt really matter, it was just great i could witness it. There wasnt a lot of thunder. I must admit i did think of the film War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise when this was happening expecting crazy tripod aliens breaking from the ground this morning 😀 also apparently this is my 500th post on me page..a milestone right fans

another lovely day in Aber yesterday- oh we do like to be beside the seaside 😃 Honestly though seeing so many people enjoy our beach is lovely to see and a fair few took a dip into the cool sea...i must admit i was tempted to join them though passed in the end...maybe next time right...its getting slightly cooler each day (which is a shame) and i did hear a rumble of thunder earlier but all in all a lovely end to May fans

Its been an absolute gorgeous few days and a tad on the hot side - love it. It is lovely seeing so many people out and enjoying themselves and the weather. All to often i hear people moan about Aber - i get it, more could be done for our town but lets also be honest with ourselves and say how beautiful it is too. It is all too easy to find fault with thing but much more harder to speak out about the positives...caru Aber! fans

Few from a nice walk up Rhobell Fawr - a nice introduction for my wife to see the mountains of Y Eryri. I will always say that this mountain has some of the best views to be seen in Cymru/Wales with a wonderful 360. It was once a volcano in a time that blows my mind - millions and millions of years ago. The stone wall is also something else and it's incredible to think of the time it took to build - does anyone have an idea how long it would take to build such a wall? This particular wall goes all the way to the summit and beyond which you will see in some of the pics fans

Storm Chandra - well we didnt get the waves or the wind (though it was breezy at times and it did rain but didnt really feel like a storm here..that said the light was sublime and really like how these have turned out fans
