I drive past these old buildings on the perimeter of the current Farnborough Airport. The large lattice frame is a portable airship hanger which was erected at Farnborough Airport back in 1912. It makes for an interesting image and is one I have been wanting a picture of for some time. Also the former departure lounge and control tower of the former airport, in art deco. Stunning architecture. Shame about the car park in front of it.

Classic Mercedes 280E from the 1970’s, which took us up and over the pass after a spot of lunch at Ustria Alpsu back in May this year. For a classic it was a very comfortable ride 🙂.

Irton Pike - I took an early morning walk up this hill near our Airbnb and took this image showing a view of Irton Pike in the Lake District. It was quite a walk and in the other direction you can see Was Water. Not the most flattering light as the sun was already too high.
