A few weeks ago i travelled up to Yorkshire with a buddy for a photography experience with Steve Race taking images of Gannets diving at 60 mph off the coast of Bempton. The rain was predicted to arrive midmorning so it was full speed ahead on our fishing boat to hopefully grab the shots before it washed out the day.
I was prepared for some explosive action but the 30 mins we had with the feeding birds was insane.....absolute madness as they basically dive-bombed around the boat competing for the mackerel. Certainly worth a return trip and highly recommended.
