1,000 WEDDINGS 🤯

This Friday I’ll photograph my 1,000th wedding and honestly… I don’t even know how to put into words what this incredible career has done for me.

22 years of unbelievable couples, massive laughs, emotional moments, lifelong memories and a job I still genuinely adore every single week 👏

This post is a bit of a throwback through the years too. Some proud moments from the PPANI (a personal highlight of mine) mixed in with some very questionable old photos of me that absolutely should’ve stayed hidden forever 😂

But honestly, I just feel incredibly proud and unbelievably grateful.

To every single couple who trusted me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives… thank you. It means more than you’ll ever know! As always a post like this can’t go out without a huge thank you to my awesome wife Danielle who juggles being a super busy wedding celebrant and incredible mum to our 2 wonderful children Scarlett and Olivia while I graft at long days enjoying myself at all the weddings I photograph ❤️

Some sunsets just hit differently ✨🌅

Gina & Marc were an absolute dream during golden hour at the 🤍

No awkwardness, no overthinking, just the two of them having the best time together while I quietly lost my mind over this light 😂

Honestly though… how gorgeous are these images?! That soft light, the movement, the happiness in every frame. Absolute magic from start to finish ✨ what a day!

20 absolute belters from Robyn & Curtis’ incredible wedding day at the stunning Tullyglass House Hotel 🤍

What a day from start to finish. A gorgeous ceremony led by my beautiful wife Danielle from , with an amazing atmosphere right from the very beginning 🙌

From the minute I arrived there was nothing but laughs. The bridal party, the family, the friends… honestly it was a laugh a minute all day long and exactly the kind of atmosphere photographers dream about. Good people, good craic and a dancefloor ready to erupt before the starters even landed 😂

It was also my first time working alongside the amazing Leah from and she was an absolute joy to work with all day 🙌

Then came the full 2.0 experience… and WOW. Meal entertainment, evening entertainment, dancefloor madness… the man simply knows how to create an atmosphere. Every single guest was loving life 🎤🔥

Massive shoutout as well to the incredible team at , another amazing venue I’m very proud to be recommended by. The staff, the service, the food, the setup… always top class 👏

This day had everything… and then some 🔥

Ashleigh & Adam, two absolute legends tying the knot at the stunning Clandeboye Lodge Hotel never disappoints. It’s one of those venues I could shoot every single weekend and still love it just as much 🔥

Their ceremony took place in the gorgeous Blackwood Suite, led by my amazing wife Danielle Barnes (Tie the Knot NI - Humanist Wedding Celebrant Danielle Barnes) who absolutely nailed it as always. Personal, emotional, and a few laughs thrown in for good measure… exactly how it should be ❤️

Ashleigh absolutely stole the show in her unreal Milla Nova gown from Verona Bridal… proper jaw dropping stuff 👏

Such a pleasure working alongside Sarah from Sarah Mac Moments - Wedding Day Content Creator NI, such a talent and all round awesome human being!

The whole day just flowed. Unreal energy, brilliant people, and a sneaky surprise from a great friend in the industry that Adam definitely wasn’t expecting 😂

There’s not enough space on Instagram to properly do this one justice… but I’m going to give it a go anyway ❤️

This absolute babe beside me isn’t just my amazing wife… she’s the rock of our family and the driving force behind everything I’ve built. The calm when I’m flat out, the ideas woman… and for years she was right there beside me at weddings too, grafting away and helping shape what this business has become.

Over 16 years ago I was photographing a wedding and Danielle was there as an evening guest. Mad how one random night can completely change your life. And here we are… nearly 11 years married, two beautiful girls Scarlett and Olivia, and somehow we’ve built this life where we both get to do what we love 🥰

Watching her start her business Tie the Knot NI - Humanist Wedding Celebrant Danielle Barnes grow into one of the best wedding celebrants in Northern Ireland has been something else. The way she connects with couples, tells their story and brings real heart into every ceremony… it’s just class.

We don’t take any of it for granted. The couples, the memories, the life we’ve built… it means everything 🔥

One week to go until Lauren + Luke tie the knot! ✨

I’m terrible for not sharing enough pre wedding shoots, because truth be told I only take on a handful each year, but when they turn out like this… how could I not? 🔥

We shot these around the Christmas markets at Belfast City Hall and wow… the lights, the atmosphere, the cosy winter magic… it just had everything. Proper warm fuzzy vibes. Also who doesn’t love Dutch pancakes at the markets 😋

And these two legends made it effortless. So much laughter, so natural and some of my favourite pre wedding images I’ve captured 😍

If this is the energy before the wedding, the big day is going to be unreal 👏

The Merchant never misses 🔥

Claire & Garry absolutely smashed it. I love shooting weddings here, it just delivers every time and these images are just gorgeous from start to finish. Big shoutout to Shea, Lynn and the whole team… always incredible and make the whole day feel effortless.

A quick wander through the Cathedral Quarter gave us the dreamiest backdrops, then into the Duke of York for a bit of craic 🍻

And as if the day hadn’t already peaked… we finished it off with an epic rooftop sunset after dinner. Proper magic. What a day 👏

When I’m not photographing weddings, you can find me teaching and encouraging others! ❤️

20 images from what was an absolute cracker of a training day I coached at as part of Mark Hamill’s NI Photography Workshops at Ballyness Resort a couple of weeks back 🔥

I’ve barely scratched the surface of what we created that day. Unreal group of photographers on the day, great craic, and a real privilege to be coaching alongside such a talented bunch 🔥

I spent the full day working with Stephanie and Aaron… two absolute legends. Up for everything, brought serious energy, and made the whole day a dream to shoot 😀

The weather was shocking, winds were wild, but it didn’t matter one bit. This place just delivers every time.
