Rain clouds, boots & hats, champion livestock and a whole lot of Cumbrian spirit...Westmorland County Show!

From beef and sheep judging to country pursuits, bustling trade stands and plenty for the next generation to discover, there was something happening around every corner.

Coinciding with Back British Farming Day, the show brought together farming, food, countryside and community in true Cumbrian style...with school groups also getting the chance to learn more about the industry.
Proud to have captured the action as one of the official photographers. Here’s a little snippet of my time, do you see yourself - tag friends.

Helen and Paul’s beautiful wedding at Lancaster House Hotel was everything you they could wish for.. sunshine, sparkles, laughs, and the people who meant the most to them.

Helen looked absolutely lovely in her sparkling dress, which seemed to catch every ray of sunshine on a truly scorching day! ☀️Paul looked every bit the stylish groom in his light coloured suit, a perfect choice for such a warm summer wedding.

It was an absolute pleasure to be there to capture their wedding day. Congratulations.

A little preview from a lovely wedding day recently! ❤️

The summer heatwaves are certainly making some of the hottest weddings I've photographed to date, but that doesn't stop us from smiling through the day, these two made the most of every moment together with their close family/friends.

Farm Open Days

Looking forward to being back behind the camera at the Farm Open Days again this week.
A great initiative from Westmorland County Show & Agricultural Society.
Farms create an incredible outdoor learning environment; hands-on, memorable, and full of opportunities to connect young people with farming, agriculture, and the journey from farm to fork, with plenty of fun along the way.

Excited to document the smiles, the curiosity, and the stories that make these days so important. Will your children's school be attending?

Happy Father Day
I spend a lot of time photographing big moments, but it’s often the small ones that stay with people.
Father’s Day feels like a good reason to share this, taken on my own wedding day.
One of those in-between moments that probably felt chaotic at the time, but now means a lot. The helping hand, the vintage family tractor, the laughter along the way…that’s the power of photography: preserving not just how things looked, but the people who helped you get there.
Here’s to the dads and father figures behind so many of life’s moments 🤍
