Loving that our station is becoming a bit of an art hub. Check out The Booking Office Studio Junction Gallery and Lidia Ranns if you are paying a visit. Great refreshments at Brief Encounter Bistro & Bar and for any Floristry needs we've the fabulous In The Meadow Floral Design nearby as well. Not forgetting Whisk and Sugar if you are after an edible workshop too!

Back at Carnforth station today for the Carnforth Heritage Visitor Centre model railway event!

I spent yesterday in the studio and welcomed folk through the door to have a look and chat, I even had a visit from Elsie the studio dog along with her wonderful artist mum Jayne from The Booking Office Studio Then this young man came in and asked if he could paint!

What a lovely way to spend the day.

The Hurley Flyer

RNLI patrols the sands of Morecambe Bay while we were all watching the eclipse. A reminder that this place while utterly beautiful is treacherous and that the incoming tide is never far away. What an evening to be out on a hovercraft!

Although the path through the woods wasn't easy the shade was welcome on a warm day. Then, turning a corner there was this little sapling bathed in light. A perfect little moment to capture.

We watched the eclipse from the Shore tonight and had lovely picnic tea. I didn't have the right filter for the camera so no actual sun photos. The clouds came over at the wrong moment of course but the Bay as usual did its thing and the light was stunning with the most beautiful sun rays.
