I’m based in Upper Tumble, Carmarthenshire; part of the beautiful South Wales valleys. I like baking, eating said baking (I sometimes suspect I only enjoy baking because I get to eat what I make afterwards…), tea (goes well with the baking), how books smell (reading goes well with tea and baking, are we noticing a theme here?), crocheting cute things and my dogs (though I’ve yet to crochet somethi
ng for my dogs). I now realise this makes me sound old beyond my years, but they all make me happy. I started Emmagined with one aim in mind: making people cry. It gives me no greater pleasure in life than to move somebody so powerfully with the images I take of them and their family that tears of joy come to their eyes. I end up welling up myself! I should probably buy some waterproof mascara. So that’s me, and that’s what I do! I also keep a blog where I write useful things like What to Wear for Family Portraits, show props I’ve sourced and made, behind the scenes posts and personal projects, and a shoot diary with my favourite images from shoots that I do. I have a newsletter too! So grab a cup of tea and a couple of hobnobs and enjoy your stay. Don't forget to check out my site over at emmagined.co.uk!
