Agenoria named after the Roman Goddess of activity. On display at the NRM York.
Designed by John Urpeth Rastrick and built by Foster & Rastrick & Co Stourbridge in 1829. She hauled the coal from the mine to the canal on the Earl of Dudleys railway.
In his time Rastrick had worked with another great English inventor and engineer Richard Trevithick the creator of Catch Me Can. He was one of the judges at the historic Rainhill trails and is credited with building the first steam loco in the USA.

Class A1 60163 Tornado turns out of Parton on the Cumbrian Coast 28/06/25. With Whitehaven Tunnel still closed we won't be seeing the fantastic sight of a steam train on the local tracks for some time!
