Here is a chaffinch in apple blossom just back from the framers. I have managed to get a really grainy effect in the background using cyanoytype. There is quite a lot more gouache than usual to get the highlights in the foliage and the bright pinks.

Here is an etching I have just made using Ferric Chloride to etch a copper sheet. It is printed using a improvised etching press made from a craft embossing machine I found in a charity shop. My blanket was made from multiple sheets of crafting felt. The octopus texture was scratched into the copper with a stylus after the chemical etch. I think I am now quite hooked on this process and will maybe invest in proper blankets.
