So if you’re having a spring clean this Easter please consider the following two charities.
Give and MakeUp accept lightly used make up and toiletries and give them to women who have escaped abuse and make it to refuges with next to nothing. They say if it’s good enough to give your friend, they’ll accept it.
Smalls for All give bras to women in Africa who are at risk of being r***d. The possibility of a woman being r***d is significantly less if she is wearing a bra as it is seen as a sign of wealth.
So have a sort out for two awesome charities!

I love it when people gain knowledge and confidence from lessons. This a review from someone this week.

Whether your beginner or advanced, or somewhere in between, if you want to brush off that sewing machine, pull out some thread and make something beautiful out of that fabric you bought a few years ago, Julieanne Creative is the place to come (or I can come to you). From one to one, to one to three sewing lessons, I will help build your confidence, improve your skills or even just help with those irritating little problems you can't solve. You can bring your own machine or use one of the brand new machines I have for you and relax. All threads, fabric and refreshments are included in the cost. So come along and enjoy.
I am a product design trained qualified teacher with a textiles background and am fully DBS checked.
