We’re tired, frustrated and emotionally drained but, the fight goes on. 💪🏻

I don’t make an appearance on the other side of the lens very often, but having spent 2 days coordinating helicopter operations in Llanwonno 🔥 , I was able to get some cool shots of the crews so thought I would take the opportunity to get one myself. 🚒

Thanks for all the messages to the fire crews, control room staff and support staff. Everyone is working tirelessly to not only respond to the wildfires, but also to maintain operational readiness for day to day response. 🙌🏻

It was incredible to watch the fire react to the change in wind direction during the night 🔥 - nothing for an hour and then suddenly the entire hill side would light up. I got a little bit to focused on the stars so the fire is quite small in the photo). 🚒
