One of the benefits of manufacturing in-house at Graham Sweet Studios is that we're involved in every stage of the process, allowing us to develop ideas, test different finishes and refine the details as a project progresses.

When it comes to our bespoke 3D letters, this means we can explore different finishes and techniques, from painted, metallic and glitter finishes to wood, stone and concrete effects, creating the right look for each individual project.

With the Royal Welsh Show taking place this week, we're looking back at these colourful 3D letters we produced for the event a few years ago.

Standing at 1800mm high, the 'Y SIOE' letters were manufactured from expanded polystyrene, coated for added strength and finished in bright colours to create a striking focal point.

It was great to see the finished letters in place, providing visitors with a colourful backdrop and a fantastic photo opportunity.

It was great to contribute to River Island's recent summer displays.

Working from supplied concepts and designs, we manufactured these oversized ice cream and ice lolly props for the brand's summer window displays. Produced in-house at our Cardiff studios, each prop was created from expanded polystyrene and finished in colours to complement the vibrant scheme.

It was rewarding to see the finished pieces installed in-store.

With the FIFA World Cup in full swing, we're looking back at these oversized football props we created for a past project.

Manufactured in-house at our Cardiff studios, the large footballs were constructed from expanded polystyrene before being coated and finished to achieve a realistic appearance. Their impressive scale made them a striking prop for the event.

Whether for sporting events, retail promotions or themed installations, bespoke props like these are a great way to bring a campaign or event to life.

As Pride Month takes place this June, we’re looking back at a bespoke project from a few years ago.
These 3D letters we created for Aviva were a great example of how custom-made pieces can help bring a space to life and create a memorable backdrop. The brightly coloured letters, with custom print to the faces, provided a great photo opportunity too.

A look back at a project from last year.

We created this 3D model of the Old Mill, which formed part of a wonderful display by Team Grenada that went on to win Gold at the Chelsea Flower Show 2025.

It was fantastic to see the finished piece become part of such a beautifully executed display. We were delighted to play a part in the project and help bring the Old Mill to life.

A throwback to these large glitter finish letters we produced a few years ago, which were on display at Tom Kerridge Presents Pub in the Park.

Designed to make an impact, the oversized letters created a bold focal point for the event and worked brilliantly as a backdrop for photos throughout the festival.
