October groundhopping around the new RCT patch. I’ve been discovering pockets of colourful communities by bike, straining up and gliding down the rugged valleys with only a phone. But the local Pontyclun grounds are walkable and Penrhiwfer FC is so impressively set that I felt compelled to nip back with four wheels and cameras.
My 10ish years of photographing professional football feels a while ago now, but I still can’t resist these magnetic green triangles of fizzing energy. Whatever the level, it always matters.
