Forest Farm - Cardiff

After finishing late at work, and even if it was a hot day, I decided to go for a walk with my camera and see if I could get some interesting photos.
The pond in front of the hide was very quiet, some squirrels, some funny magpies trying to steal some food, very few people around, but very nice chats going on, and then I saw the kingfisher arrive as a big surprise. It rested a bit, and then it decided to catch some fish. It battled for a while as the fish was slightly bigger and surprisingly wasn't cooperating. At the end, the fish accepted its fate, and the kingfisher was finally able to have its dinner

Forest farm

A quiet afternoon at forest farm, waiting for the heron to come to the pond, and then while I was looking for birds, I saw this pigeon couple that was lovely playing on the branch, taking care of each other, and the whole interaction seemed like a gentle romance moment.

They were too in love and nice to not take a photo :)
