One of the questions we get asked a lot:
“Can you help implement motion across our website?”

The short answer? Yes.

From micro-interactions to animated UI elements, we design and implement purposeful motion using Lottie files, GIFs or video, depending on what’s right for the platform and performance requirements.

But it’s never about adding animation for animation’s sake.

Every client is different, so we start with discovery. We look at objectives, user journeys and technical constraints, then define how motion should behave across the site. The result is motion that guides, clarifies and enhances the experience.

A peek behind the scenes on character animation for our Cardiff Castle campaign.

Animating characters that interact with real-world footage was a fun creative challenge, blending hand-drawn overlays, rigged elements, and bespoke animation in After Effects to bring everything to life. Every movement needed to feel playful AND clear without voice-over, so motion really had to do the talking.

Loving how this evolved. Stay tuned for more process shares.

One of the biggest things we see as a result of our motion systems, toolkits and identities is reduced friction between teams.

There's less second-guessing, less back and forth, fewer subjective debates and most importantly faster decisions.

It also makes it easier for people with no motion or design experience to apply movement correctly, without needing a motion designer in every single conversation.

This becomes critical at scale. Multiple agencies. Internal teams. External partners. All contributing to the same ecosystem.

A shared motion system creates consistency without bottlenecking creativity. And in complex organisations, that clarity is often just as valuable as the external impact.

Another peek behind the curtain of how our motion team brought our clients strategy to life through motion. A recent project saw us partnering with a client to shape how their next five years are understood.

The challenge was to translate a global strategy into a motion-led system that could carry complex thinking, align teams and scale across multiple touchpoints.

We started with concept development, defining a clear visual language and behavioural rules for how motion should express the strategy. From there, we built out a motion identity designed to flex across markets, audiences and contexts.

What’s great to see now is that the system isn’t sitting still. It’s already being used beyond the original global rollout, supporting UK-focused initiatives and ensuring everything feels connected, intentional and recognisable.

Creatively, the team have been pushing the balance between 2D and 3D, using Blender and After Effects to create work that has depth and perspective, without losing graphic clarity.

More to share soon.

Winmau Darts And PDC Europe came to us with a challenge: how do you stay true to the core darts audience while opening the door to a new generation of fans?

Working closely with both teams, through strategy sessions, we developed a motion-led approach designed to do both. Fast-paced animation, bold illustration and a flexible type system came together to capture the energy of a live tournament, while giving the brands a platform that could scale across different audiences and touchpoints.

Once the motion identity was defined, we worked with Luke Humphries and Mark Webster to direct a series of content pieces that brought it all to life and helped position darts in a way that feels current, accessible and hard to ignore.

It was probably only five years ago that motion felt progressive when you encountered it as part of a brand’s identity. Now it feels expected. Part and parcel of the whole thing.

Scroll through LinkedIn for 30 seconds. Everything moves. And if it doesn’t, it really sticks out.

Granted, that’s partly down to our algorithm and the people we connect with. But it’s becoming rare to see a brand launch that doesn’t include some form of motion within its identity.

The brands that treat motion as a system feel current. The ones that don’t often feel… archived.

Anyway... check out our new blog post on the framework that makes motion scalable 👇

We help brands find their voice through motion design. We create cohesive, scalable, motion-led brand systems and campaigns. Combining strategic design, dynamic identity systems, and content production.

The second of our two key services is Brand Motion Content.

This is where strategy meets real-world delivery. Motion content can sit on top of a Brand Motion System and motion toolkit, or exist as a standalone piece. Either way, it’s always created with purpose.

Campaigns, launches, and key moments where motion needs to work hard and feel on brand. Not content for content’s sake.

Every piece is designed to perform a job, achieve a goal, or help a business move closer to an objective. Everything is rooted in strategy, not just ex*****on.

Now that our new website is out in the wild 🔥 it's time to shout about our new approach. One of the main things we focus on now is Brand Motion Systems.

Most brands use motion all the time. Social, ads, product, internal comms. But it’s often created piece by piece. Different teams, different suppliers, different styles. Over time, things naturally start to feel inconsistent.

A Brand Motion System helps fix that.

Instead of treating motion as a series of one-offs, we help brands define a clear set of principles and reusable building blocks. A shared framework that makes motion easier to use, easier to scale, and more consistent wherever it shows up.

As motion becomes more common across digital channels, brands that rely purely on static design can start to feel a little left behind. Not because motion is a trend, but because it’s becoming a normal part of how brands communicate.

It’s not about adding complexity. It’s about saving time, reducing rework, and giving teams clarity as content demands increase.

We’ve got a shiny new website, and a clearer focus.

As our client work has evolved, so has our positioning. We’ve moved beyond being a broad content studio and now work as a strategic motion-design partner, helping brands bring structure, clarity and consistency to how motion shows up across their business.

That means motion systems, not one-offs. Long-term thinking, not just delivering assets. Purposeful creative decisions that solve real problems and allow brands to scale consistently across channels. The new site captures where we are now and where we’re heading.
