Unfortunately with this second lockdown on the way, traveling around and interacting with new people is going to face some challenges. I’m sad to say that these posts won’t be coming out as often as I would like for awhile but I’m certainly not about to stop this series. I have been having so much fun these last few months and I will do everything I can to make sure it continues.
Wide-range traveling is out of the question for now but local exploring/meeting is not off the table. If you’re or anyone you know is based in Kent, UK and may have some tales to share, drop me a DM! 😊
Either way, thank you for understanding, your support and I hope everyone continues to stay safe and well.

"This was my third tattoo and probably the most painful, it took about two hours. I was not prepared for just how much this thing was going to hurt. I got this one because it looks pretty and it gave me a bit more confidence. Like, I have always struggled with body issues and I have never really had that much confidence. So with this tattoo, even though it is not always on display, it helps me because I just think to myself, 'yeah, I got a really cool tattoo but you're not going to see it'. It is mostly just a confidence thing for me, and I like flowers." - Kayleigh O.-B.

"This is my second tattoo. It is mostly a cycling tattoo. Which is also why it is technically upside down, so that I can see it when I'm riding. H-T-F-U stands for 'harden the f**k up'. The nails come from my tattooist, who was doing a lot of nails and teeth as flash at the time that I went to get this." - Chris W.

"This is a piece of a watch. But it is based on themes in my hobbies like cycling, acrobatics, and martial arts and stuff. As stuff moves away from the axis of rotation everything kind of slows down, and as it moves closer it speeds up. This kind of represents that. It is a balance wheel and that is the section of that watch that as you tighten the screws it adjusts how quickly the watch runs. It is just a nerdy reference to all of that. Also, I've been working on watches for over 10 years now and I wanted something relating to it." - Chris W.

"I love and hate this tattoo, mostly hate, but we're keeping it. I got this one because it was a part of some Halloween flash and it just made me laugh. I was like, 'ha, that's a stupid tattoo I could get that not many people are going to see'. Thank god no one else sees this on my body like everyday. It makes me laugh, I got it on a whim because it was quite cheap and goth girls are hot. My artist even agreed with me on that while tattooing this on me, she was like, 'goth girls are hot, aren't they?' and we just agreed over that." - Kayleigh O.-B.

"So I got the books for a number of reasons. First of all, I graduated university after 5 years, so that was fun. Second of all, I love reading, I have been reading since a young age. Third, books have gotten me through some tough times, they're just like my escape kind of thing. It is kind of ironic because I am dyslexic as f**k but I like reading." - Kayleigh O.-B.

"Obviously, I have been told many times that this is a basic bitch tattoo and I have to agree. However, it is probably also the most meaningful tattoo. I got it because since a young age I have had depression and anxiety. I had struggled with mental health for a long time and I got this done while I was in uni, when I was really struggling. I use it as a reminder that things won't always be s**t and I thought if I got serotonin somewhere on my body than at least I always have it somewhere, if not in my brain. Basically, it's to remind me that life isn't that s**t even though I feel like it is." - Kayleigh O.-B.

"This was my first tattoo. I got this for a number of reasons. The first is that it is a running joke in my family, that I am the 'crazy unicorn lady'. Second, unicorns are a bit of a gay icon, and I got it to help me accept the fact that I might not be completely straight. Third, it is really cute and I got it kind of as a travel buddy because at the time I was doing a lot of solo-traveling around the country. I still need to name him though, any and all suggestions would be fab." - Kayleigh O.-B.

"This is a Talking Heads tattoo. It's a song, obviously called This Must Be The Place. It's a love song, it's like the only love song that Talking Heads ever wrote. I got it done when I was studying my degree in Music Technology and I felt really happy and This Must Be The Place was like in my head as that song title and I used to listen to it loads, all the time. So I just went and got it tattooed on me." - Kate W.

"That is Keith Flint from The Prodigy. Uh, he died and I wanted to get him tattooed on me because he was like a big, massive pioneer for like, definitely, electronic music but also kind of like punk music as well. The Prodigy merged electronic and punk like really well together, like rock and punk and stuff. And yeah, he was a bit of an inspiration to me when I was younger and in bands and stuff. He kind of taught me to be a bit more ballsy in life, I guess." - Kate W.

"This is a Cure tattoo. One of my favourite bands, The Cure. I went on holiday to Scotland to see them in June last year (I think?). And Plain Song is like not my favourite Cure song, I couldn't pick a favourite, but it is one that means a lot to me. I gave the tattooist the song and I said, 'draw up whatever'. I sort of told her how I felt when I listen to that song, I said, 'I felt like you can picture Robert Smith, the frontman of the band, sort of standing on the edge of a cliff and it's really windy and there's like waves crashing everywhere', and so that's kind of what she came up with. I am pretty sure it is a famous Japanese wave, I can't remember what it is called. I like how it all kind of merges into one blob but when you look at it closely you can kind of see it all. Except for one little freckle that is poking out." - Kate W.

"So this is Tails, from Sonic and Tails. I got it done probably around 2010, maybe 2009. When my brother and I were kids we always said we would have tattoos of Sonic and Tails, probably didn't even know what a tattoo was at that age, we were so young like about 7 or 8. He has a tattoo of Super Sonic so basically a gold Sonic, and I've got Tails. It has faded over the last 10 years but I really love this tattoo. And it is the one that most people recognise, like when I'm at work and people are like 'oh I love your Tails tattoo'. - Kate W.
