Refresh, Restart, Renew... All words we associate with the New Year's resolutions and new beginnings!

My promise for 2023 is to take a step back from the hamster wheel of life and make time and headspace just for me - every single day - at least 30 minutes!

🧒🏻 Best friends 🐶
I LOVE this shot - I took the same photo of my own children’s eyes a few years ago (see my stories for the frame hanging on my wall at home)…
But I’ve never tried it on a family shoot before… let alone with a child and a dog!!!
These two were so gorgeous (and well behaved) and clearly had a special bond. They managed to stay still long enough for me to grab this!!!
I’m so pleased with it! What do you think? Would you like a photo like this with your dog?

Yep! It’s that time of year… Black Friday, Christmas and January sale season!!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s tricky for small businesses that have a seasonal element to them… having professional photos to market your goods and services when they’re different in Summer and Winter can be tricky, not to mention expensive!
That’s why I’m always happy to split your brand or commercial photo shoot between two seasons. That way we capture a selection of images you can use ALL YEAR ROUND! 🙌🏻

I know I’ve been really quiet on here for the last few weeks, but it’s all going on behind the scenes!
Sep to Nov are my busiest months for family photo shoots, and it’s no secret why with those gorgeous Autumn colours 🍁
I’ve also held my first branding shoot at home in our new house since we moved a year ago!
It’s taken me a while to get the space ready, and I’m so pleased I can now offer this for clients who want an alternative to their own home or work space.
My diary is just about full for the remainder of 2022, so if you’re interested in booking a shoot for your family or small business, we’re now looking ahead to 2023 folks!

Does this look scary to you?
I honestly get it... standing in front of a camera is daunting. I'll let you into a little secret too. Even I find having my photo taken a bit nerve wracking, and I'm a photographer!
But its so important to show yourself within your business and build your "Personal Brand". You've heard it said before that people buy from people... and those people want to know who you are!
Showing up certainly doesn't have to mean showing off, it just means being your authentic self and finding ways to communicate that to your clients.
So take a breath, be brave, and show up... what's stopping you?
