One thing I’ve really wanted to learn and get better at is urban photography.
We got to visit the beautiful city of Norwich today and this street is Elm Hill. It is more or less untouched ever since the early 1500s and obviously makes for great photography. The history available in this area is beyond fascinating!

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to do much photography things…I got up and moved to England!
But what better what to get back into it than to photograph my smart and beautiful wife for graduating with her masters degree!
We live in the beautiful city of Cambridge now (home of cambridge university, duh) and it provided some amazing backdrops for her photo shoot. Still can’t believe we live here…

New Mexico’s frontier history is so incredibly fascinating! To see the landscape out here and know it hasn’t changed much in the last 150 years is very humbling.
I decided to shoot the abandoned church in Taiban, NM again, about 15 months after I did the first time and I can definitely say Ive improved! (My very post on this acct). I think I’m turning into a landscape photographer...

Here’s what may be my favorite photo of the sunset last weekend, all the colors came out for this from the blues to the deepest orange. All with the pure white foreground of the gypsum sands that make up ! Tomorrow ill post the very last one of the sunset 🙂

One of the reasons I wanted to shoot photos at White Sands was for the sunsets. So at the start of golden hour right before sunset, when the sun went behind clouds (as seen in previously posted photo), I was pretty ticked because I lost out on the amazing colors. Or so i thought lol. That’s one of the things I love most about photography, that even when you think conditions are going to suck, there is always a surprise in store.
And boy was there with this instance. The sun ended up shining underneath the clouds to give this breath-taking view. And yes, the photos still get better! Wait for tomorrow’s post...
