No Eclipse Goggles? 👓 Use a simple projector instead.

If you've ran out of time to buy solar goggles for viewing the partial eclipse on Wednesday fear not.

One of the safest and most enjoyable ways to view a solar eclipse is via a simple pinhole projector.

1. Find some cardboard, thin card or just some plain paper, and make a tiny hole in it. Use a sharp pin for this and try not to make the hole too big.

2. Hold this card/paper towards the Sun without directly looking at it.

3. Place another white card or piece of paper a foot or two away from your pin hole and move it around until you see an image of the Sun's disk on the paper.

Clear skies.
