Posted • There is no doubt that we live in the strange and unfamiliar world of COVID. The past year has been difficult for everyone, but it has also given us the opportunity to pause and contemplate our lives, beliefs and personal goals.

Posted • I used coloured powder to capture the movement of the dancers. This project allows the viewer to travel the world and learn about these cultures from the comfort of their own home, something that has been put on hold during the coronovirus pandemic.

Posted • The project consists of 6 photographs and a moving image representing 6 countries- Brazil, India, Portugal, Texas - USA, Ethiopia and Western Australia. They represent the meaning of the countries national colours and national dance, supported by audio from first-hand experiences. This project allowed me to collaborate with to create these mesmerising images.

After many breakdowns and eating A LOT of chocolate i have finally handed in my final module for third year! I am so relieved after how stressful this year has been! Thank you to everyone who has helped me get through it 😅 Now time to relax and have a nap! 😆🍾🎉✔

Im still in need for first-hand accounts, detailing how colour is represented in specific countries from around the world, either through traditions or their national colour and their origins by providing some simple questions for my final photography project. A Simple voice recordings will do, but if you would like to communicate through zoom or microsoft teams thats fine. However, if you would prefer not to record your voice just a message response will be great.

I've had some great responses but would love to hear more.

If anyone is interested or know someone who would like to tell me about their cultural/country experiences and traditions, I would love for you to get in contact with me to send you the questions. In order to progress with my final photography project, i'm looking for first-hand accounts, detailing how colour is represented in specific cultures, either through traditions or their national colour and their origins by conducting a series of interviews. Simple voice recordings will do, but if you would like to communicate through zoom or microsoft teams thats fine. I will only be using audio for the project.
