I am based in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, offering
one to one workshops and tuition.

Please email or phone for information on prices and details on booking a photography workshop. We have no set dates, as all our workshops are geared around our customers diary. We only offer one to one workshops, we do not partake in groups, as we like to concentrate on the needs of the customer.

Today, Steve from Peterborough joined for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography Workshop, the threat of rain never materialized and we were lucky with some of the lighting we experienced after lunch. We look forward to Steve joining us next year for another workshop.

Lynne and I had a busy weekend in the garden in preparation for the delivery of our "sitooterie" as the day warmed up we were accompanied by numerous butterflies and Hummingbird Moths. I could not help and stop and take a few photographs.

Today we had the pleasure of Simon from Scotland for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography workshop. Heavy showers threatened to spoil the day however we managed to dodge the rain and had a great day in the Nantlle Valley. Simon had a lot of information to digest but took it all on board and now needs to keep on using his camera rather than his mobile phone.

A quiet week with no workshops so Lynne and I decided to try and capture some of the wonderful creepy crawlies that frequent our lovely garden.

Yesterday Sergio from the South West joined us for his 1-2-1 Landscape workshop, a very enjoyable day with at time some nice light. there was not a lot of water in the rivers but enough to capture a few nice images.

I often advise my clients to keep practicing even if its only in the garden, these two images were captured last week in the garden.

Today we were joined by Sonia from Yorkshire for her 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography workshop, an early start to get ahead of the heat wave proved successful and we had a great workshop giving Sonia a better understanding of her camera and some of the finer points of landscape photography.

Yesterday the NWPA Competition 2026 was held at Craig y Don in Llandudno, authors could enter a maximum of four images each. Here are my four entries and their respective awards. I appreciate they are not landscapes but I do like my sports photography.

A location that will be used next year when we revise the landscape venues, it also has a cafe that does great coffee, sandwiches and cake.

Yesterday, Lucas from Cornwall joined us for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography Workshop, Lucas wanted to understand his camera more and to move away from the auto settings. By the end of the workshop Lucas achieved his goal and took control of his camera and now understands what was required to capture great images.
