So I can’t believe that I haven’t posted on here in a couple of years!! I’ve spent the last two years doing bits of travelling (very lucky yes) obviously with covid I’m stationary at the moment (south of France) but I do have my next adventure, I’ve joined a team in the Mongol Rally - four strangers, 10,000 miles in a €1000 VW T3 what can go wrong - come follow our adventures 😁 https://m.facebook.com/The-Trans-Siberian-Postmen-110502437795392/?tsid=0.19906244015460794&source=result

Bury Ladies played Oldham on 05 May 18 in prom dresses to raise money for Bury Hospice. Local Bury MP James Frith came along and took the first kick of the match.
The girls organised a raffle and auction afterwards and have raised well in excess of a thousand pounds for the charity.
Well done to all who took part a great day and a massive amount raised for charity!

So I don't polish the camera off much these days as civvie life is pretty hectic. I joined Bury Ladies a couple of weeks ago, as I wasn't playing today thought I'd take the camera and get a few pictures. It was only our third match and we got our first try - in absolute crazy conditions. Brilliant job ladies! Well done!!!

So having left the military now I haven't had chance to pick up my camera for a few months. I'm still a bit undecided about my future direction but popped along to the WOR tough one yesterday as one of my friends was riding. Here's a few from the day - those guys and girls are either brave or crazy I still haven't decided yet! Loved dusting my camera off :)

Well hi everyone, just thought I'd let you know how I got on at FAB camp. It was amazing to see how the money that is raised is spent and I had one of the most hard working, amazing, emotional but rewarding weeks of my life.I very much believe the holidays make a massive difference for the families and I cannot wait to volunteer next year! Here's the website if you want any more details on what they do and watch this space for the next fundraiser. Thank you again for donating I really cannot put into words the change the money makes.http://fabcamps.org.uk/

Hello everyone - sorry I've been so quiet, I've been busy trying to prepare for leaving the RAF next year so haven't had much chance to do my own stuff. I just thought I'd let you know that I'm off to Whitby tomorrow to work for FAB the charity that many of you donated to at my portraits, I'll be spending a week with the families doing activities with them - so I'll let you know how it goes and thank you again for helping me raise €3100 for them. It's going to be brilliant to see the how the money is used.

Just a few of my favourites from 2013. There's been bumps, babies and a few weddings in the mix as well. The highlight of the year was raising €3100 for FAB charity (family activity breaks for military bereaved). I'll be doing the portraits again this year and fingers crossed if I pass selection I will be working as a volunteer in one of the camps as well. I won't be taking bookings in the near future as I will be concentrating on my resettlement from the RAF (just a year left) but I will be looking for newborn models at some point as I'll be doing some training as that's the area I want to concentrate on. Thank you all for your support in 2013. Make sure you look back for details on Say Cheese for Charity 3, but I'm afraid it's not going to be down a beach (yes I miss the Cyprus sunshine :(.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014, Emma ###xx
