Father’s Day can hold so many emotions at once.🤍

Today, I’m celebrating the incredible father figures in my children’s lives—the ones who have shown up with love, patience, guidance and support. I’m endlessly grateful for the love they receive on a daily basis.

At the same time, I’m missing my own dad. Grief has a funny old way of sitting alongside gratitude - especially on days like today. I wish he were here to see the memories we’re making and the people we’re becoming.

As a photographer, I’m reminded every day why preserving memories matters. The photos we take today become the treasures we hold tomorrow. A reason I’m sharing these images of my lovely dad with you now🤍

To all dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, mentors, and father figures — thank you for the love you give. And to those missing someone today, I’m holding extra space for you too. ✨

Candid moments will always, always be my favourite part of any gallery I do🤍

Don’t get me wrong, the posed family portraits with Nana Pat or your parents & siblings are always going to be special - but it’s the inbetween moments you didn’t even know I was watching that I love to capture.

A simple moment of the bride retouching her lipgloss after the big nuptials is just a timeless, candid moment I know she’ll be grateful I captured in years to come. Not only does she look completely flawless but it will serve as a poignant reminder of the way her bridesmaids made sure they had her lipgloss & portable mirror ready to go whenever she needed on the biggest day of her life. A true reflection of the loving friendships made long before becoming a wife✨

These are only fleeting moments & my role is to make sure I capture them for you to keep & treasure for a lifetime while you simply soak up & enjoy every moment🤍

I had the absolute pleasure of working with reuben_george_interiors this week🪚🪛🔨

I really stepped out of my comfort zone doing this session having never done craftsmanship photography & even dabbled in a new style of editing. I’ve got to say - for a first go, I’m pretty proud of the outcome📸
