Some little details from my gorgeous friends day🥹

Although attending as a guest, I couldn’t resist taking a few snaps of the day (with permission). But of course after a few Hugo spritz my camera stayed firmly in its bag & we boogied the night away, soaking up the last wedding of our friends this year🫶🏼

Although a small gallery (simply from having way too much fun) - some of the pictures have become a firm favourite of mine that I can’t wait to share in due course🥹

Quite sad the wedding season for the group is over but couldn’t be happier that all my girls are officially wives. Maybe I’ll just always be the photographer rather than the bride, who knows?🤣🤍

I’m often asked “how would you describe your style”?

I would say candid & romantic are the strongest words that spring to mind. I’m incredibly passionate about capturing the authentic moments, the moments that really tell your individual story. There is of course a place for the posed portraits with your loved ones, but primarily I’ll fade into the background & will never take you away or distract you from soaking up all the moments that happen on the best day of your life.

My goal is to simply capture everything as is & keep your day as exactly that: yours. 🤍

I’ve been super quiet these last few weeks but I’ve been doing some reflecting recently and all I can say is, I’m proud me of✨

It only really hit me yesterday just how full on the last 18 months have been while talking to a friend watching our children play.. In the last year & a half I have:

- had my second baby
- started up a business
- juggled night work
- started a new corporate job
- been present in every part I play in my loved ones lives
- juggled the school run & nap times with working, working some more & editing all in between those fleeting moments

And it finally put into perspective, I’ve actually achieved a heck of a lot! And maybe, all that grinding I’ve done for the last 18 months is finally, dare I say it, starting to pay off!?

But after the busiest summer, watching & capturing so many loved ones celebrate their love & union, I think I’ve unintentionally had a bit of a social media break. Something I didn’t know I needed, but with the demands of a young family & everything inbetween, it was definitely the one thing that needed to “give” as such..

I’m deep in an editing hole but I’m ahead of schedule so I’m super excited to send across the finalised galleries very, very soon🥹

And with that, my first wedding season as a photographer is coming to an end (still have to pinch myself that I’ve done it!) 🥹🫶🏼

Back in December I truly thought this passion of mine wasn’t going to work out & I made a promise to myself that, if by June, it was still a struggle, then I’d simply keep photography as a hobby… Well here I am after the busiest 6 months I could’ve had & I’m so grateful December me didn’t give up✨

All I have to say is thank you. Thank you for believing in me & thank you for all of the opportunities I’ve had with families, businesses, couples, pets, babies, birthdays, you name it! You’ve made a girls dream come true & although the imposter syndrome is real, I’m just grateful you trust my visions & judgements to capture your most special moments.

The juggle of work, life, kids & everything inbetween has been REAL but do you know what, I’m so blooming proud of what I’ve overcome, created & achieved.

Grateful, proud & everything inbetween. I am SO excited to share more of what I’ve been up to so soon🥹🫶🏼

A polite reminder that I will be away this weekend to celebrate another couple of my gorgeous friends becoming husband & wife. I truly can’t believe all my besties are now (or are very soon to be) wifed up!!🥹🤍

Meaning my replies to messages & enquiries will be slower than normal as I’ll be switching off from “work” mode for a few days to soak it all up & be entirely present.

If you contact me during this time, rest assured I’ll be getting back to you on Wednesday 19th August.. I really appreciate the patience you’ve all shown me so far - I’ve truly been in the thick of wedding season these last few weeks🫶🏼

For now, I’ll respond to everyone that’s reached out these last few days by tomorrow & then I’ll be switching off for a little “break”.

That new “Mr & Mrs” feeling!!!! 💍🤵🏻‍♂️👰🏼‍♀️✨

The documents have been signed, you’ve been announced as husband & wife & everything you dreamt of for your day was captured perfectly in the moment.

I had so many comments last week “we forgot you were even there” which is EXACTLY what I want you to do. Your day is exactly that - yours. No forced posing, no imitations of moments gone - just you, as you are - soaking up every moment while I capture the good stuff.

Still not over it in the slightest… Such a beautiful, beautiful day 🥹✨

A little snippet of the magic of the most beautiful wedding day I am so grateful to have been a part of. A day I will forever treasure, for so many reasons.

If I talk (in this case write) too much about it, I can’t help but be soppy & emotional, so I’ll keep it short & sweet - what an honour it was to witness & capture the moments before, during & after you became husband & wife. Thank you for trusting me on your most special day. And what a way to celebrate yesterday!! 🕺🏻🪩
