Kettering & District Photographic Society We are a friendly group of enthusiasts from a variety of walks of life who enjoy photography We are a friendly group with experts in many fields of photography.

We all help each other, so just ask away. We meet most Monday evenings (except Bank Holidays) at a NEW VENUE for 2022. Kettering Rugby Club. Waverley road , NN15 6NT. Ample parking, lift available on site to access first floor meeting room. Visitors are always welcome. 3 free weeks before you decide to join our club. minimal monthly fees. Feel free to ask more details during your guest visit. Door

s open at 7.30pm for a 30 minutes social before the meeting begins at 8pm. Bar is open throughout and we take a half time brief interval. The meetings close at 10pm. We have a raffle most weeks. bring your loose change. See our website for our program, which is also pinned to this page. Check regularly as it is subject to change. We also have Workshops regularly, usually a weekday and we hold outdoor photo-shoots locally in July and August with other random trips when an opportunity arises. We have an equal mix of beginners to the more advanced. We hold friendly club competitions which are spread through out our program. For members only we have a closed private page. KDPS online challenge private group. Here you can discuss anything related to photography, be it equipment, or locations etc. Behind the scenes is the committee who all work hard for the club. Members are welcome to our meetings each month to hear what goes on to keep the club running smoothly. Feel free to be part of our committee. We welcome all the help we can get.

Our field trip committee organised an action packed photo opportunity at Kettering rugby club on Saturday just gone. The practice game didn’t disappoint and kept our members on their toes catching plenty of action shots.

How time flies and next week we’re in September already.
Our first meeting back is a presentation by Sarah Howard, visiting our club all the way from the beautiful Cotswolds, ‘Capturing mood and atmosphere in landscapes’ is what Sarah will be sharing with us.
A favourite genre for many of our members and maybe a new one to learn more about for our other keen enthusiasts at the club. We hope as many of our members will be there to welcome Sarah.
