Stara Community Woodland.
On the south east edge of Bodmin Moor near Launceston, Stara Community Woodland is three woodlands Broad, Colquite and Treovis with the River Lyner cascading through it. the woods have been there since at least the 17th century and each differs from the others.
The variety of the woodland provides a wonderful habitat for all kinds of flora, fauna and wildlife. Permissive and public paths run through the woodland, there is even a suspension bridge across the river. The woods are looked after by the Friends of Stara Woods who do a fantastic job and it is definitely worth a visit.
